Fox has officially announced an upcoming television series starring Morris Chestnut. Casting is now officially open for interested applicants to be a part of the upcoming pilot episode.

Chestnut is set to play Dr. Beaumont Rosewood in Fox’s upcoming Todd Harthan drama pilot. The series will center around the young and charismatic pathologist, Dr. Rosewood, who is gifted with the ability to read living and dead bodies like a book.

Despite the fact that the young doctor is surrounded by death, his positive view on life both irks and annoys a particular female detective he often works with.

Chestnut is currently filming as the lead in Sony Screen Gem’s psychological thriller, When the Bough Breaks, opposite Regina Hall. The film is directed by Jon Cassar.

For those who are interested to apply for the role, kindly submit three of your most recent photos. The photos must be in focus and unedited. Think of ‘selfie type’ photos for your submission.

And, do not forget to include the following details: age, height and updated contact number. Filming will be on April 7 and 8. The casting is open to Miami locals only.
