PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Local female talents are sought within the vicinity of Orlando, Florida, for the role of principal vocalist in the production of Voyage of the Little Mermaid, which will be staged live at the Walt Disney World Resort.
They are looking for a female performer to portray Ariel from The Little Mermaid who is a lyrical pop soprano with belt to C. You must be at least 18 years old to qualify for the part, but you must appear like you are only 16–20 years of age. Your height should also fit the range of 5’1″–5’4″.
Registration will commence at 9:00 a.m. and will shortly be followed by the audition proper on May 2, 2015, at the Maingate Office Complex, 3010 Maingate Lane, Kissimmee, Florida.
Please provide a current headshot along with your résumé. Also prepare 16 bars of a musical selection with a sheet music, in the correct key, for the accompanist. Prerecorded tracks and a cappella pieces will not be entertained.
Vocal auditions will be conducted right after the typecasting, which the applicants need to pass before proceeding to the next step. The final draft of the performers must attend the callbacks, which will be held immediately after the auditions. Failure to do so will forfeit the application.
Advanced registration is not necessary.
